Summary[]
Flash Forward[]
The story begins with a flashforward ten years in the future. Adachi and Shimamura are living together, and they are getting ready to go on a trip. Before they set off, Shimamura decides to visit her family while Adachi has more or less cut off all connections she had with her family.
Shimamura visits her family and is greeted by Yashiro and her little sister.
After enjoy their vacation in Los Angelos, Adachi and Shimamura head back to Japan with hopes that they may be able to save enough to go on another vacation like that again someday soon.
Present Day[]
Adachi and Shimamura are second years in high school, and they will be heading out on the school trip with their classmates.
Adachi asks Shimamura if she had a choice, where would she like to go for a trip. Off the top of her head, Shimamura answers Los Angeles.

- During this Volume, Chikama Yashiro reveals to Shimamura that she is meant to meet Adachi in all timelines.
- In this Volume, Chikama reveals that the eyes she has are actually fake. She merely created them to help her fit in more when she is interacting with humans. The Flashforward also reveals that she either doesn't age, or she ages much slower than humans do.
- This is the final volume to be illustrated by Non.
- This marks the first time other characters find out that Adachi and Shimamura are dating.
- In the afterwards, Hitomi Iruma revealed she included the FlashForward segments of an older Adachi and Shimamura in case she died prior to completing the series, so the readers would get a potential ending for the series.
- This marks the first time people besides Adachi and Shimamura know that they are dating in the Present Day storyline.
