Several years into the future, Adachi and Shimamura are preparing to move in together while taking care of several affairs of their own before doing so. Shimamura is spending time at her grandparents home while Adachi decides to check out some of the local areas before leaving for good.

Adachi and Shimamura move into their new apartment and spend a few days unpacking. After unpacking, Adachi and Shimamura head out to the grocery store and explore their new town, which is ninety minutes away by train from their hometown. Next week,  Adachi and Shimamura would begin their new jobs at different companies. The chapter ends with Adachi's monologue about how her dreams had come true and that she could not live without Shimamura. Shimamura has been the best match for her hopes,  prayers, and desires for the future. She was the missing puzzle piece of Adachi life. Adachi felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

Trivia[]

  • Similar to Volume 08, there are Flashforward segments, including giving more context to Adachi breaking off contact with her family.
  • The Japanese version of the synopsis is from Adachi's perspective expressing her excitement to move in with Shimamura rather than a third person perspective regarding Shimamura.
  • The English title is rather befitting regarding Shimamura's weaknesses and her need to overcome them during her relationship with Adachi. She lacked the ability to be honest with other people regarding her feelings nor was she able to communicate them either. She lacked the ability to commit to anyone whether it be friendship or otherwise.
  • It was digitally released in English around the same time Volume 11 was released in Japan.
